– Actual MSDS info from a popular competitor.

Why would you mess with this stuff in any amount or dilution?

The last bit of MSDS info was from a spotter. How many people pour on the spotter and use their finger? How many people apply cleaning solution every day and breathe in the mist from the sprayer? I wear glass and have cleaned for almost 30 years. From a regular tee Jet type tip you will aerosolize your cleaning solution fairly easily. When my glasses had a residue from the chemical on them at the end of the day you can rest assured that I was also breathing in that stuff and so are you! My nose is lower than my eyes. This kind of stuff in cumulative be careful!

So what can you do? Educate yourself on the products you use. Discontinue or severely limit the use of products with MSDS info like the above. Switch your spray tips to low drift or ultra low drift tips to eliminate or greatly reduce the amount of aerosolized spray. I have installed these types of tips on the CarpetMax for years and now the MiniMax. I have seen the benefit of these tips that come from the pesticide industry (in part) to control overspray.

Why do I mention these tips? It’s the right thing to do. My goal is to start a campaign to influence every manufacture in our industry to switch. They cost about the same and install the same in many cases. Lets protect our cleaners. Share the spray tip info.

I’m so serious about this that when you order a case or more of any of my products, just ask and I will give you a tip for FREE. I will carry 8003 and 11004. These are low drift tips and are suitable for up to 60 psi. If your sprayer is over 60, it will reduce the efficiency of the tip but it will still be better than a normal tip. If you order online, just call 877-477-1615 or email me at [email protected] and request the tip at the time of your order. I will not be selling these tips. Not for use over 100 psi.
